Finn Balor calls himself The Extraordinary Man Who Does Extraordinary Things

#1 Became the first-ever Universal Champion, for one day

Unfortunately, Balor had to relinquish the WWE Universal Championship inside 24 hours of winning it

Amongst the superstars who have won the Universal Championship in the WWE, Finn Balor has had the shortest reign with that title. The NXT graduate injured his shoulder during his match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016. The medical team informed WWE that Finn's shoulder will take a considerable amount of time to heal.

Thus, WWE had no other option but to force Finn Balor to relinquish the Universal Championship. Kevin Owens captured the belt soon and had a stellar reign as a champion. Legendary superstars like Goldberg and Brock Lesnar have also won this title but none of them had a reign so short as Finn Balor.

Now that Balor is a part of the SmackDown roster, it is unlikely that we see him in the Universal title picture this year. But, the Intercontinental Champion will be in action this Friday when he defends his title against Andrade.
