It was quite a shocker for WWE fans to see the former Wyatt Family member, Erick Rowan, show up to attack AJ Styles (when the official was down), costing him the championship match.

While it might have seemed surprising and a lucrative idea at that time, it might end up doing more harm than good in the long run.

Given Rowan attacked AJ Styles, a potential feud between the duo could be totally on the cards, and thus, WWE might end up demoting AJ to mid-card on the SmackDown roster. And with the company lacking some high-profile names at the moment, it might hinder the already degrading viewership and attendance.

A superstar like AJ Styles deserves to be in the top card, and I am afraid a feud with Eric Rowan might end up underwhelming and irrelevant.
