Finn Balor had a resurgence after SummerSlam where he returned a demon and defeated Baron Corbin clean to settle the odds which were stuck at 1-1. Finn Balor returned after SummerSlam to accept Roman Reign's challenge for the Universal Championship and gave one of the best matches of recent times. I have no clue what happened last night. Baron Corbin largely dominated the match from the very start and there were only a very few moments where Finn Balor could be seen having an upper edge.
While chants like "you can't wrestle" were rife or Baron Corbin, Finn Balor did not really continue his impressive in-ring run as one would have hoped. Baron Corbin went on to win the match after changing the stipulation and which did not manage to sell the idea of Baron Corbin giving a defeat to Finn Balor.
