Kofi Kingston never headlined a PPV as the WWE Champion whereas Seth Rollins headlined four out of the five PPVs after WrestleMania 35.

The WWE Championship is one of the most prestigious titles in the company. However, when we compare the WWE Championship with its counterpart on RAW, we can see that it has always taken a backseat.

WWE is not even giving the main event slot of SmackDown LIVE to Kofi Kingston and his rivals. Instead, for the past few weeks, the main event picture of the Blue Brand has been revolving around Roman Reigns, Eric Rowan, and Daniel Bryan.

Giving the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar will elevate the prestige of the title. Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly WWE's best draw and the ccompany will advertise Brock Lesnar's bouts as much as possible.

As it has done throughout 2017 and 2018, WWE will make a big deal out of every single Brock Lesnar title defence and we will see an increase in the number of PPVs headlined by WWE Championship matches.

Kofi Kingston, unfortunately, could not elevate the championship during his reign. Kingston's feuds against the likes of Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler and Samoa Joe were not memorable.
