The Rock could return at some point during the summer after taking time off following his performance at WrestleMania 40. The legend could return as early as Money in the Bank, but even if this happens, it should be a surprise return, as the company has given no hints as to when the Final Boss could be back in WWE.
However, it wouldn't come as a surprise if we see him return to WWE at the upcoming premium live event, Money in the Bank, which is set to take place this Saturday in Toronto.
With that in mind, let's take a look at three things The Rock could do should he appear at Money in the Bank.
#3. Interfere in the six-man tag team match between Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton against The Bloodline
See who is stunned by Hulk Hogan's words HERE
The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will team up with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to take on The Bloodline in an effort to take the upper hand in their battle with the faction.
The Viper and KO continue to battle The Bloodline, but this time they have come to the aid of The American Nightmare after the latter was assaulted by Solo Sikoa and Co at Clash at the Castle.
Thus, we could see The Rock interfere in the match to distract Cody Rhodes and help The Bloodline emerge victorious.
#2. Address Solo Sikoa's attack on Paul Heyman
Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline shocked the WWE Universe when they assaulted Paul Heyman in the final moments of SmackDown last Friday. Heyman refused to acknowledge Sikoa as the Tribal Chief, which resulted in a vicious assault by Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
The WWE Hall of Famer was stretchered out of the arena and is expected to take time off. As for The Rock, he could address Solo Sikoa's actions on SmackDown, but it is unclear if he will call him out or support them, as Solo is trying to make a statement as the new leader of The Bloodline.
#1. Challenging Cody Rhodes to a match at SummerSlam
Back at WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes stood tall and finished his story, dethroning Roman Reigns and becoming the new Undisputed WWE Champion.
The following night on RAW, The Rock appeared during Rhodes' title celebraion and congratulated him on his victory. However, he told The American Nightmare that when he is back, he will go after him for the title.
Thus, it wouldn't come as a surprise should he appear at Money in the Bank to challenge Cody Rhodes to a match at SummerSlam in early August.
Summerslam is the second-biggest event of WWE after WrestleMania and it would be a no brainer should the two megastars collide at the coming PLE.
It is also worth mentioning that at the moment, WWE has not revealed its plans for who Rhodes will face for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam, meaning that The Rock could emerge as a top candidate.
