Alexa Bliss, who was a Wild Card entrant last week, became the number one contender of WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley. The Goddess hosted a special edition of 'A Moment of Bliss' last week when things got heated. Bliss subsequently defeated Carmella and Charlotte Flair to become the number one challenger of Bayley at Stomping Grounds.
Alexa Bliss and Bayley had a rivalry in the past when the latter was part of the red brand. Bayley won the most coveted women's prize or the red brand but she dropped it to Alexa Bliss at Payback.
Although Bayley attempted to regain the belt at Extreme Rules, but could not defeat the Goddess. Hence, the five-time Women's Champion is unbeaten against Bayley in pay-per-views and it will be interesting to see if Bliss wins the SmackDown Women's Title at Stomping Grounds.
Considering the new alliance between Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, the latter is likely to play an essential role in this feud. Similar to Bliss, Cross could show up on the blue brand through Wild Card Rule. The team of Cross and Bliss will leave no stone unturned to wreck Bayley and we might see a preview this week.
