In one of the two King of the Ring matches on SmackDown Live this week, Buddy Murphy will take on Ali. There is no doubt that the two men had a spectacular rivalry on 205 Live and we could witness another classic battle on SmackDown Live this week. Considering the momentum of Murphy, he will be favourite to beat Ali.
Murphy has been involved in Roman Reigns' mystery attacker storyline after which the Australian Superstar faced both Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan over the last two weeks. Despite a valiant effort against Reigns, he lost the clash but he picked up his maiden SmackDown Live victory against Daniel Bryan last week.
Ali, on the other hand, had a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship but he failed to capture the belt.
The match between Ali and Murphy can turn out to be the match of the night, however, it will not be surprising to see some interference. Since Bryan lost to Murphy last week, he could be eyeing revenge.
