3 Things WWE could be planning on the SmackDown after Survivor Series (November 29, 2019)

Who will join them?
Who will join them?

SmackDown came second in the battle for brand supremacy at Survivor Series, winning two contests to NXT's four victories, and RAW's one. Friday night's upcoming post-Survivor Series episode is expected to be an action-packed show, as the build-up for TLC is likely to commence.

SmackDown won the Men's Traditional Match at Survivor Series, owing to a brilliant performance from Roman Reigns, despite his differences with Baron Corbin. The feud between Reigns and Corbin should progress on the Blue Brand this week. Sasha Banks and Bayley both lost their respective matches at Survivor Series, and will have questions to answer as leaders of the SmackDown Women's division. Furthermore, The New Day and Shinsuke Nakamura also had a disappointing night while representing the Blue Brand.

The next episode of SmackDown will be held at the Legacy Arena in North Birmingham, Alabama. Bray Wyatt is scheduled to introduce a new member to the Firefly Fun House this week. Let's talk about three things WWE could be planning this week.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3 The Miz turns heel and abruptly attacks Daniel Bryan

Will it happen?
Will it happen?

At Survivor Series, Daniel Bryan earned the opportunity to challenge for SmackDown's most prestigious championship: the Universal Championship. The former WWE Champion faced The Fiend with grit, but it wasn't enough to beat the monster who has been terrorizing WWE since SummerSlam.

With The Miz teasing a feud with Bryan, it is unlikely that the latter will get a rematch for the Universal Championship at TLC. In fact, The Miz and Daniel Bryan had a verbal confrontation at Survivor Series where 'The A-Lister' tried encouraging Bryan. However, Bryan didn't respond well to The Miz' gesture.

The Miz has been a babyface for a while, but earned his reputation as a heel. As a villain, he won a number of titles in WWE, but the same can't be said about his run as a face. The Miz' face turn has been mediocre at best and he hasn't been in the title picture either. Given Bryan has recently turned face, The Miz could turn heel this week, officially starting the rivalry.

#2 Braun Strowman confronts Nakamura

At Survivor Series, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura faced Roderick Strong and AJ Styles to prove the superior mid-card champion. While it was a decent bout, Roderick Strong pinned Nakamura to win the Triple Threat Match. With TLC less than three weeks away, Nakamura is likely to defend his title, especially considering he hasn't defended it at the last couple of pay-per-views.

Braun Strowman has had a productive run since swapping brands last month. Facing Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel, Strowman made a bold statement, and he also represented the Blue Brand at Survivor Series. Although 'The Monster Among Men' was eliminated by count out, his team still won the match.

Perhaps a glimpse of Strowman's next feud was given on SmackDown a few weeks ago when he had a face-off with Sami Zayn and Nakamura. Despite being part of the main roster for a couple of years and booked as a top star of the company, Strowman is yet to win his first singles title, although he came close when challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Strowman has never had a legitimate feud for any of WWE's mid-card titles, but that might change on SmackDown this week. Following the intense confrontation a couple of weeks ago, Strowman just might confront the duo again, and could possibly attack the Intercontinental Champion.

#1 Sister Abigail makes her debut in Firefly Fun House

Set for this week

Defending the Universal Title for the first time at Survivor Series, The Fiend did a great job, winning comprehensively against Daniel Bryan. Now, The Fiend will set his sights on his next target at TLC. However, Bray Wyatt will host an episode of Firefly Fun House this week, and he will reveal a new member in the Firefly Fun House.

The Firefly Fun House segments have played an essential role in the development of Bray Wyatt's new character. Wyatt, the host, is accompanied by four other interesting characters, who often deliver hidden messages. It remains to be seen who joins Ramblin' Rabbit, Husky the Pig, Mercy the Buzzard, and Abby the Witch in the Firefly Fun House.

After bringing in Wyatt's alter ego, The Fiend, many fans wanted to see Sister Abigail, who was introduced by Wyatt a couple of years ago, but the storyline didn't progress. In fact, Wyatt's previous finishing maneuver was called Sister Abigail, before The Fiend started using the mandible claw. When Wyatt was feuding with Finn Balor in 2017, he revealed Sister Abigail in a segment. Despite teasing the arrival of Sister Abigail, she never appeared on TV, but Wyatt has the opportunity to introduce her on WWE SmackDown this week.
