When Mandy Rose defeated Asuka to earn a SmackDown Women's championship match against her, many were stunned.

Despite some shaky months in 2018, Asuka has been seen as one of the company's most dominant athletes, whilst Rose, a fair hand in the ring, is still relatively new.
Though some fans claimed Asuka was being buried for this one loss, it doesn't seem the case, as the Japanese star retained the gold last night.
Whilst Rose's time may come in the future, Asuka remains one of the women division's most popular and talented stars, so to cut her reign short would've been a crime.
With the SmackDown Women's championship around the waist of the Empress, and with WrestleMania around the corner, the question now is simple: who's next?
