Another week, another episode of Monday Night RAW.
This week's episode of WWE RAW is done and dusted, and it was truly one to remember. We saw a huge announcement from the McMahon family, as well as some very interesting NXT call-ups being announced..
With TLC over, the men and women of team Red will have no time to recover from the barbaric event, as the Superstars of both brands look ahead to the Royal Rumble and the road to WrestleMania.
The Rumble is a chance for any Superstar to instantly earn a WrestleMania main event match, and whilst we have the #30 entrants, there is still plenty of spots left.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Here are three things the WWE got spot on in the latest episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, as well as two things which could've been a whole lot better.
#3 Got It Right: NXT Callups
Despite there being so many Superstars on the main roster, both RAW and SmackDown Live are often criticized as predictable, and even worse, boring.
This has reflected in 2018, in the company's viewing figures, with both shows suffering record lows multiple times.
But this week, the WWE hoped to shake things up, when they announced several NXT Superstars would be making their main roster debuts soon.
Amongst them including Lacey Evans, Lars Sullivan and EC3, all of whom have impressed in the developmental brand.
Whilst NXT stars coming to the main roster have been hit and miss, ranging from Finn Balor to Bo Dallas, hopefully, these announced Superstars will fare well.
And with the Royal Rumble just weeks away, are we looking at some Royal Rumble winners?
#2 Got It Wrong: The McMahons
Ever since Vince McMahon stepped out from behind the commentary desk, the WWE has for years been about the McMahons, and their constant family struggles.
But this week, Vince, alongside Shane and Stephanie, as well as Triple H announced they would be putting themselves in complete control of both RAW and SmackDown Live, after the Corbin debacle at TLC.
Whilst this may be a good thing, fans will not have to look far back to remember the Authority, and how for years, the WWE seemed to be solely about the most prominent family in wrestling.
Also, whilst this is an interesting announcement, it's not exactly the groundbreaking, monumental shock that fans were promised.
And let's not forget, if the McMahons are gonna be running the shows, what does that mean for Paige?
#2 Got It Right: The Revival are number one contenders
Ever since the Revival debuted on Monday Night RAW, the duo have been completely mishandled, losing almost every match they've been in, never getting close to the RAW Tag Team Championships.
But this week, the team of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder finally earned a title match, a much-needed victory, when you consider that the pair could've chosen to leave the company for greener pastures next year.
Whilst I don't see the former NXT Tag Champions dethrone the new champs of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, this title match is still a huge opportunity to impress.
Hopefully, The Revival will be able to prove their worth and prove why they belong in the title picture, just like they were able to do back when they were in NXT.
#1 Got It Wrong: No Royal Rumble announcements
We are just over five weeks away from the 2019 Royal Rumble, and we already have a blockbuster main event.
As well as the two Royal Rumble matches, Braun Strowman will get another shot at the Beast Brock Lesnar, with the Universal Title on the line.
But besides all these tidbits, as well as the #30 entrants, there has been no news about the show, with nothing being given away this week on RAW.
I'm not saying that they should announce the entire match card in one go, but even a small hint at something would've been appreciated.
Maybe just someone saying they will win the Rumble, announcing their participation in the iconic match.
Just something to keep the momentum going to one of WWE's big four pay per views.
#1 Got It Right: Angle in action
When Kurt Angle debuted in the WWF in 1999, he came with a lot of credentials.
Amongst those, was his Olympic Gold medal from the 1996 Atlanta games, with Angle proving all naysayers wrong when he transitioned seamlessly to pro-wrestling.
This week, over 19 years later, Angle very much proved he's still got it, when he took on Baron Corbin in handicap action, with the former GM-Elect still reeling from his TLC beatdown the night before.
It's always great to see the Wrestling Machine in action, with Angle going toe-to-toe with the former Constable in an entertaining match.
Angle himself has said in past interviews, he would love to become a World Champion in WWE again, and judging by his performance on RAW, he may just do that.
Could the Olympian be in the 2019 Royal Rumble match?
