3 Things WWE hinted on SmackDown this week (20 December 2019)

#2 Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke will team up against Bayley and Sasha Banks

After locking horns on SmackDown last week, Dana Brooke and Bayley crossed paths in a rematch this week, which was a non-title bout. Brooke showed grit but it wasn't enough to pin the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion. Bayley proved her dominance yet again by winning the rematch this week.

Currently a heel, she didn't spare her opponent even after winning the match, assaulting her with the help of her best friend Sasha Banks. Lacey Evans, who started a feud with Bayley and Banks recently, came out to help Brooke, taking out both the women and making them leave the ring. Subsequently, she challenged Banks for a singles match, which ended in double count-out.

The Sassy Southern Belle has turned a complete babyface, not only saving Brooke but also standing up against the bullies. With that in mind, WWE hinted at a possible alliance between Evans and Brooke, which could pose a serious threat to the heel duo. The former was previously dominated by Bayley and Banks, considering they had the numerical advantage.

However, Evans could receive a much-needed boost if Dana joins hands with her, and it certainly looks feasible now. It will not be surprising if the duo faces off against Banks and Bayley in a tag team match next week.
