WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view Survivor Series is going to be monumental in the company’s history, as this is the first time all three brands will battle for supremacy. Coincidentally, the event is being held in Chicago which is CM Punk’s hometown.
Now, it is too far-fetched to hope for Punk’s in-ring return at the PPV, but a brief appearance from him would be a savvy move by WWE. The arena is bound to echo with the chants of his name and seeing him on the big screen guarantees a huge pop in honor of 'The Best in the Wold’. Needless to say, it would be a huge surprise.
Even if Punk appears as a part of the panel or in a brief segment during the PPV, WWE Creative will be successful in milking its benefit for the rest of the week. We know that CM Punk is set to appear on select dates only. Therefore, this feels like the perfect time to have him address the WWE Universe before his next appearance which might not happen until next year.
