Lacey Evans became a popular star on the Monday Night RAW brand following her promotion at the beginning of 2019. At one point, Ronda Rousey even stated that Evans is the woman who inspires her because she has shown that she can continue to wrestle in WWE while having a family.
Evans' daughter Summer would be on the road with The Sassy Southern Belle quite often during her time in NXT, but when he moved to the main roster, WWE thought that it was time for Summer to become involved in storylines.

As part of her storyline with Sasha Banks and Bayley earlier this year, Summer was able to appear alongside her mother and become the main motivation for Evans as she took on the duo. Throughout the storyline, Summer was able to portray the character that WWE needed from the six-year-old.
Evans was unable to claim the SmackDown Women's Championship as part of the feud, but she proved that she had what it takes to be a headliner in WWE's Women's Division in the future.
