#2. Fake: Hornswoggle - Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon has been part of some interesting storylines throughout his time as The Chairman of WWE. One of the more interesting storylines began back in 2007 when it was revealed that Hornswoggle was Vince McMahon's illegitimate son.

There had been hints for a number of weeks that The Chairman had a son and that he was part of the WWE roster, with many fans believing that it was Great Khali following the "things are looking up" hint.

Up until that point, many fans believed that Hornswoggle was the son of Finlay given their interaction in his early WWE career.

After finding out about his family relations, Hornswoggle was stripped of the Cruiserweight Championship by General Manager Vickie Guerrero before McMahon's "tough love" continued with some shocking matches on RAW.

After a short storyline that involved Hornswoggle facing his father in a steel cage, it was revealed that McMahon wasn't actually Hornswoggle's father, Finlay was. This then led to a storyline between JBL & Finlay and allowed McMahon to leave WWE TV on hiatus once again.
