Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton started the fight on a high note. With heavyweights like Batista, Kane, Big Show and Superstars like Rey Mysterio and Bobby Lashley on either side, it was definite that this would be one tough clash. An injured Batista and Rey Mysterio combined well to dominate after Kane and Big Show ravaged SmackDown for the opening ten minutes.
Mysterio combined with JBL to bring down the rest of RAW until only Shawn Michaels was left.
Rey Mysterio tried to put HBK down with a splash when Michaels countered it using his Sweet chin music to pin The Master of 619. Moments later, Michaels would eliminate JBL and it was left to Orton and him.
In the end, Shawn Michaels would be deceived by JBL who tried to attack him with a chair and Orton, like The Viper he is, would take the moment to plant a RKO.
Orton won it for the Blue Brand. SmackDown members headed by Bob Orton Jr. rushed to the ring but their celebration was cut short by The Undertaker.
The Undertaker would swing Orton over the top rope and cause rampage on the SmackDown roster.
