Several WWE Superstars on both RAW and SmackDown have been portraying a babyface character for the past few months, which may or may not have been working well for them. However, some of them may change their trajectory sooner or later.
While many heels like Drew McIntyre, The Bloodline, Gunther, The Judgment Day, and more have been impressing and engaging fans with their heel characters, their rivals have also equally captured the admiration of fans. Cody Rhodes, The Terror Twins, Jey Uso, LA Knight, and more have been fan favorites for a while, but some of these heroes can turn into villains soon enough.
For this list, we will look at three top babyface WWE Superstars who are likely to turn heel before Halloween this year.
#3. Kevin Owens has been teasing a heel turn for months
Kevin Owens has been adamant that he is a changed person on SmackDown, even lending a hand to Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton as they go up against The Bloodline. However, he might feel that his good deeds have been taken advantage of.
At Bash in Berlin, Owens held back against Rhodes, causing the challenger to fail to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. Later on, Cody signed a contract to team up with Roman Reigns, The Prizefighter's longtime rival. Through all this, one superstar who might be on the receiving end of his anger is Randy Orton, his current partner on the brand.
#2. Naomi might benefit from turning heel on WWE SmackDown
Another feud brewing on SmackDown lately is Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax vs. Bayley and Naomi, and an interesting occurrence happened last week. During the tag team match, both babyfaces pinned the champion. The stipulation stated that whoever would pin the heels would get a WWE Women's Championship match at Bad Blood. As a result, a match between Naomi and Bayley is set for this week's WWE SmackDown, which might test their friendship.
Even during the match last week, tension between the friends was visible when Naomi pulled The Role Model away while pinning Nia. If Bayley wins the number one contender's match, Naomi might realize that nothing will happen if she continues playing nice with others.
#1. It's only a matter of time until Xavier Woods turns on Kofi Kingston
Since The New Day wrapped up their feud with The Final Testament, Xavier Woods hasn't been the same.
Last week on WWE RAW, when The New Day failed to defeat The Judgment Day for the World Tag Team Championship, Woods somewhat blamed Kofi for losing the match by focusing on the rest of the group at ringside. It may only be a matter of time until Xavier lets out his frustrations on his tag team partner.
