Randy Orton opened up about many different topics during his conversation with Cody Rhodes at the "What Do You Wanna Talk About?" podcast. The Viper and The American Nightmare are great friends, and the American Nightmare even considers the Viper his 'mentor. '

During their conversation, the 14-time World Champion opened up about getting close to retirement, off-WWE projects, his preparation for the title match against Gunther at Bash in Berlin, and much more.

With that in mind, let's look at three things we learned about The Viper following his conversation with Cody Rhodes.

#3. He wants John Cena to induct him into the Hall of Fame

Randy Orton is a few years away from retirement. His new contract will keep him with WWE through 2029 when he will be 49 years old. He has previously said that the age limit of retirement for him is 50.

Once he retires, he will become a major candidate for induction into the Hall of Fame. He revealed that he wants John Cena to be the one to induct him.

"I almost don't even want to say because I feel like he'd hear this and then feel obligated, but maybe John [Cena]. There's a few reasons, selfishly, because I know that he would knock it out of the park," The Viper said. [H/T Wrestling Inc].

John Cena has announced that he will retire in 2025 and will have a final match against Orton sometime next year.

#2. Randy Orton has spent countless hours playing a specific video game

Randy Orton opened up about his love for video games and revealed about a specific video game and how many hours he has spent playing it.

This video game is called "Elden Ring," and the Viper revealed that he has spent around 600 hours playing it.

"I love Elden Ring. Let me preface this next statement with saying that I was out with spinal fusion surgery so I had a lot of time on my hands. I got, like, 600 hours on the game," Randy Orton told Cody Rhodes. [H/T Video Games Chronicle]

Still, Cody Rhodes admitted that he hasn't played the "Elden Ring" video game, mostly because he lacks time.

#1. He had an audition for Deadpool 2 movie

Randy Orton doesn't have many off-WWE projects compared to other WWE Superstars. This doesn't mean that he is not a candidate to get a role in a Hollywood movie.

In fact, he revealed that he had an audition for the Deadpool 2 movie, which has become a blockbuster since its release.

"So I do auditions here and there and I remember I got an audition early on when I finally got some representation in that industry and I think Deadpool 2. Cable. I read for Cable and in my head, boy, I was gonna be Cable. I was gonna be Cable and I was like, mhm, this is it. Nope. No callback, no nothing," Randy Orton said [H/T Post Wrestling].

Even though he was unsuccessful this time, it doesn't rule out the possibility of moving to Hollywood once he retires and pursuing a career as an actor.
