Triple H took over from Vince McMahon in 2022 as the head of creative in WWE, and many visible changes have been seen in the product. Some are more noticeable than others, but the transformation has been evident.
Many of these changes were praised by fans, such as the several international premium live events, innovative camera angles, and general booking. Still, not all regimes are perfect and many parts still need improvements. Among these changes are things McMahon had strictly implemented, but are no longer a big deal in The Game's management.
For this list, we will look at the three rules in Vince McMahon's WWE management that no longer exist under Triple H.

#3. No longer 'a local medical facility'
There have been some eccentric rumors and rules that were shared about Vince McMahon's management in WWE, but one thing that fans have picked up on through the years is that 'hospital' was barely used and when an injury angle occurred, the term 'local medical facility' was used instead. In the new regime, the word hospital is no longer an avoided word.
As per Dave Meltzer in 2019, Vince McMahon banned the word hospital as he didn't like the word to be used on TV for fear that it might encourage fans to call local hospitals to inquire about an 'injured superstar.'
#2. 'Wrestlers' and 'Wrestling' were not used in Vince McMahon's regime
One of the things unique to WWE under McMahon for many years was how they described themselves as 'sports entertainment' and not wrestling. In-ring performers were also not called wrestlers but, superstars, and calling someone the former was quite uncommon in Vince McMahon's era. Not only has The Game acknowledged the word wrestler, but also the fact that there are other promotions and has partnered with several of them in recent months, like TNA.
Despite this, Triple H doesn't completely consider WWE a sport. In June 2024, the Chief Content Officer clarified that WWE is more like a movie or a TV show about a sport.
#1. Brandings on WWE's mat are allowed in Triple H's era
In March of this year, it was announced that starting at WrestleMania XL, future premium live events will have a brand sponsor printed on the ring canvas like boxing and MMA have. Logan Paul's energy drink Prime was the first product included. At SummerSlam, Wingstop was also added at the corner.
Mark Shapiro, TKO President, talked about this move in an appearance at Morgan Stanley's Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference, and said that he wasn't criticizing Vince McMahon for not including sponsorships on the ring canvas. However, they will now 'go to town' on sponsorships, and the company didn't do a lot of branding in the arena before.
