In the recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman officially anointed Tonga Loa as a member of The Bloodline. Additionally, The Enforcer demonstrated his faction's dominance at the end of the show by assaulting Kevin Owens and the Street Profits post-match.
However, what caught the attention of many fans were Solo's actions throughout the episode, which seemed to mock Roman Reigns.
In this article, we will discuss three ways Solo Sikoa appeared to mock The Tribal Chief on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
#3. Solo Sikoa mocked Roman Reigns by asserting his position at the Head of the Table
Since the initiation of The Tribal Chief era, Roman Reigns had firmly established himself as the Head of the Table, a status he had also fiercely protected even from The Rock when he made The Final Boss accknowledge him. However, during the recent anointment ceremony, Paul Heyman declared that Solo Sikoa will sit at the Head of the Table until Roman Reigns makes his return.
The Wiseman was seemingly coerced and visibly threatened by this revamped Bloodline version and most probably made the statement against his will.
By taking over a position of such prominence in the absence of Reigns, Solo Sikoa appears to be positioning himself on the same level as the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
This move is seen by many fans as a direct challenge or a shot at the true leader of The Bloodline. Sikoa's actions suggest he is not merely holding a place for Reigns but is instead asserting his own authority and attempting to establish himself as a leader.
#2. Solo executed a Spear during the main event of the show
In the main event of the recent SmackDown, The Bloodline were engaged in a six-man tag team battle against Kevin Owens and The Street Profits. However, the match ended in disqualification when The Enforcer used a steel chair to cause the DQ. In the post-match chaos, the faction launched a brutal assault on all three of their opponents.
What caught the attention of the WWE Universe was Sikoa's decision to execute a Spear on Montez Ford instead of using his signature maneuver, the Samoan Spike. Before this, he had used the Samoan Spike on Angelo Dawkins but then suddenly changed his mind while attacking Ford.
A spear is currently the signature move of Roman Reigns, and this action by Sikoa seems to be an indirect shot at The Tribal Chief.
#1. The Bloodline executed the Shield Powerbomb on Kevin Owens
In the post-match assault, another notable moment was The Bloodline executing a Shield Powerbomb on Kevin Owens at the commentary table, which again caught the fans' attention.
A Shield Powerbomb is directly associated with Roman Reigns after to his time as a member of The Shield during his early run in the main roster of the Stamford-based promotion.
It seems like Solo Sikoa might have intentionally executed the Shield Powerbomb to mock Roman Reigns' absence from the company or even insinuate he was replacing Reigns.
