If the WWE does allow the previous option to happen, things would be exciting, but in case the company thinks otherwise, here's another way.

After Ricochet loses his NXT North American Championship he isn't seen on WWE television and makes a surprise entry during an AJ Styles promo. This would be interrupted by some other competitor which could be Samoa Joe or Kevin Owens because they can talk well on the mic and that would help the storyline.

This way Ricochet would do his magic in the ring while his opponent would do the same on the mic and this feud will rise to great proportions.

After fighting with the 'The Destroyer' or 'The Prizefighter,' he could challenge AJ Styles to a match which can happen at Royal Rumble, and in the process, the feud between him and Styles can intensify.

The two wrestlers are no strangers to each other and have fought in the independent circuit, and this match will be a treat for the fans.
