#2 We could see a new NXT Champion
As we mentioned before, both NXT Champion Adam Cole and his Survivor Series opponent, Pete Dunne, went through some - to put it mildly - intense competition at TakeOver tonight.
However, it's pretty safe to say that compared to the battle that Cole went through, Dunne got off pretty light. Now, that's not to say he didn't go through a war of his own - his Triple Threat match against both Killian Dain and Damian Priest was no walk in the park. But, if you've seen the way the men's WarGames match ended, you'll agree that the NXT Champion is probably way more battered than his opponent.
Which puts Adam Cole at a definite disadvantage going into his match on Sunday. When you take into account there are only two other matches on the card with titles on the line - Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio and Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan, neither of which really feel like titles are going to change hands in either of them - if WWE wanted to do a title change, this would be the match to do it in.
Also consider that Pete Dunne is extremely over with the NXT fanbase, and WWE may want to see if that popularity can carry over to the rest of their fans. But, if we're right, Cole's destructive match tonight would be a great way to sell a loss.
