Asuka suffered the heaviest defeat of her career at Smackdown Live this week when she lost her women's title to Charlotte Flair. While many of you might not feel like Asuka's loss to Charlotte was that career damaging, the point of the matter is that it was a loss that happened at the worst possible time for the Empress of Tomorrow.

Asuka was riding a wave of momentum from winning the title at TLC 2018 and being one of the very few people that beat Becky Lynch clean last year, so when she tapped out to Charlotte once again, it negated all that hard work WWE put into her title reign.

The question on everyone's mind right now is, where does Asuka go from here? There are many possibilities of what will go down in the week leading up to Wrestlemania, and one of those possibilities is Asuka gatecrashing the main event of Wrestlemania, as this would be the perfect way of WWE getting the most of that main event slot.

This would be an interesting decision that could change the landscape of women's wrestling for the next year, as Asuka being thrust into the limelight could see her career being rejuvenated.
