WWE Draw out the Shield vs Dogs of War feud
WWE seems to be all set to drag out the Shield vs Dogs of War feud across the PPVs till December. This same 6 man tag team match is supposedly set for WWE Super Show-Down and Starrcade and is rumoured to be the main event of the TLC PPV set in December.
While Roman is set to defend his Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar & Braun Strowman in the Crown Jewel event to be hosted in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd, this feud being drawn out essentially means that we will get to see less defenses of the Universal & Intercontinental titles in PPVs unless Roman and/or Seth pull double duty.
This does not bode well for the feuds around the said titles.
One way WWE might get around this conundrum is to book "Winner Takes All" matches. If the Shield wins, Ambrose & Seth get the Tag titles, and if the Dogs of War win, then Braun gets the Universal championship.
Contrived as it might be, at least it will keep the match ups interesting as there would be something at stake.
Otherwise the same 6 man tag match will start to grate on the viewers irrespective of who wins and this will essentially rob Rollins and Ambrose of the momentum and crowd support they had built up before the most recent Shield reunion.
