WrestleMania is rightfully known as the grandest stage of them all. It's an event where every WWE performer wants to leave a lasting mark, and create moments that would last forever.
Needless to say, WWE Superstars do everything within their power to make sure that they deliver the best performance possible at the Show of Shows. But the results don't always favour the superstar, and they end up messing up BIG TIME in front of thousands of wrestling fans, and millions watching at home.
Let's take a look at three WrestleMania matches of all time that didn't even last a minute.
#3 JBL vs Rey Mysterio, WrestleMania's 25th Anniversary
Heading into the event, JBL had promised the fans that he was going to give them a WrestleMania moment to remember till the end of time.
JBL didn't waste any time and hit an unsuspecting Mysterio even before the referee started the match. Rey decided to continue with the match and asked the referee to ring the bell. Out of the blue, Mysterio somehow managed to throw the self-proclaimed Wrestling God into a vulnerable position, perfect to connect a 619.
After successfully hitting the move, Mysterio landed on an unconscious JBL from the top rope, pinning him in 21 seconds!
An enraged and embarrassed JBL addressed the fans after the match, and spoke those two words which led to a thunderous roar among the audience, "I quit"!
#2 Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus, WrestleMania 28
This was the night the "Yes" movement truly kicked off!
Daniel Bryan had AJ Lee assist him to the ring, where a hungry Celtic Warrior was waiting for him. As soon as the match began, a cocky Bryan signalled the referee to pause for a while. He got a good luck kiss from AJ, and set his attention on Sheamus, who sprinted towards him with a thunderous Brogue Kick to the head.
Sheamus pinned Bryan in 18 seconds, as 70,000 fans cheered for the surprisingly quick finish to the match. After the match, fans kept chanting Bryan's name throughout the night. It was a sign for things to come for Bryan, resulting in an emotional and hard fought win in the main event of WrestleMania 30.
#1 The Rock vs Eric Rowan, WrestleMania 32
The Brahma Bull made his return on the Grandest Stage of Them All, in one of the most impressive entrances of all time.
As he was addressing the fans, the arena went to black and out came The Eater of the Worlds, Bray Wyatt, along with the Wyatt Family. Things weren't looking good for The Rock, as the villains began to circle around him.
The Rock challenged him to a match right there, to which Bray responded by replacing himself with his sidekick, Rowan.
A referee came out to start the match, amidst a chorus of cheers. As soon as the match began, The Rock delivered a quick Rock Bottom on Rowan, pinning him in six seconds!
A WrestleMania record had just been made by The Great One, as The Family began to circle him again. To everyone's surprise, John Cena's music hit and the former opponents cleared the ring in quick succession. It was indeed a Mania moment for the ages.
