Former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion Umaga was one of the most talented wrestlers to step foot in the Stamford-based promotion. While The Samoan Bulldozer failed to win a World Championship, he managed to have great matches and segments that make him a legend.

In fact, Umaga's success especially cannot be judged by his failure to win a World Title because the iconic Samoan wrestler passed away untimely at the age of 36. He was arguably in the prime of his career and could have possibly been a World Champion someday.

Umaga's time in WWE makes him a legend in the eyes of many, and some wrestlers, particularly from the Anoa'i family, continue to pay homage to the Samoan legend with their in-ring moves.

In this article, we will take a look at three such professional wrestlers:

#3. Zilla Fatu pays homage to WWE legend Umaga

Zilla Fatu's name appearing on this list shouldn't come as a surprise because, after all, the 25-year-old wrestler is the son of Umaga. While Zilla hasn't been signed by WWE yet, he continues to wrestle in the independent scene, where he seems to be making quite a name for himself.

In the videos that have surfaced online of Zilla's matches, he can be seen paying homage to his father by using the Samoan Spike. For those who have forgotten, the lethal move was iconically used by Umaga, and many big names fell victim to it between 2005-2009.

#2. Jacob Fatu

Another Samoan who has been making a lot of noise in the professional wrestling scene has been Jacob Fatu. Since making his debut as Solo Sikoa's Enforcer, the 32-year-old has impressed the audiences with his extraordinary in-ring skills and his devotion to playing his part in the Bloodline Saga.

However, other than being Sikoa's Enforcer, in real life, Jacob is related to Umaga, with the latter being his late uncle. In his way, Fatu makes sure to pay homage to his uncle by using the Pop Up Samoan Drop, another move the late Umaga used during his time in WWE.

#1. Solo Sikoa

In Solo Sikoa's rise to the top, he was often likened to Umaga. To be fair, this comparison wasn't entirely inaccurate as there was a very obvious similarity, given he is also the late Umaga's nephew. Like Jacob Fatu, Sikoa also ensures he pays homage to his uncle.

It is interesting to note that, like The Samoan Bulldozer, Sikoa also uses the Samoan Spike to finish his opponents. The Bloodline leader famously laid out John Cena with this move at Crown Jewel 2023.

Apart from Cena, there have also been other names who have fallen victim to Sikoa's homage to Umaga, including Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
