#1. Hope isn't true: Keith Lee had attitude issues backstage in WWE?
Keith Lee was pushed from the get-go upon his WWE main roster debut last summer. It was right after SummerSlam 2020 when he made his main roster debut, and within the same week, he defeated Randy Orton.
He was regularly pushed and was reportedly on course to dethrone Bobby Lashley to become the United States Champion, but plans changed and Riddle won the title instead.
Lee took an extensive hiatus, which he revealed was due to COVID-19 and post-COVID effects. His career even seemed to be under threat at one point, but he managed to make a comeback.
According to Wade Keller on the PWTorch VIP ad-free audio show, Keith Lee reportedly had perceived attitude issues backstage, going back to his NXT tenure:
"Keith Lee, I have chronicled for months and months and months and months and months, was somebody that even people that were rooting for him behind the scenes, became frustrated with him. He just had, in general, attitude issues. Or, as one wrestler told me tonight, “perceived attitude issues,” edging a little bit, others have said outright... attitude problems. He just was frustrated. I've heard different things about him in terms of his mood being altered way more than it should in the modern era, about being asked to do a job," said Keller about Keith Lee.
We hope this isn't true because Keith Lee is a promising talent and was considered by many as a future WWE world champion.
