Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo were one of the most famous WWE couples. Nonetheless, Andrade decided to leave WWE to look for success elsewhere.
As per his request, WWE granted the former United States Champion his release last March. His final match came against Angel Garza on RAW in October 2020, which he lost. Following his departure, Andrade joined AEW.
Andrade and Flair's love story started in WWE. Former superstar Karl Anderson introduced them. They even had their first date in catering at a WWE event. The couple has been together now for nearly two years. While Andrade is yet to win any gold in AEW, his fiancée continues her impressive WWE run. The Queen is currently the SmackDown Women's Champion.

Although they spent a few years together in Vince McMahon's company, Andrade and Flair never worked with each other on-screen. In a previous interview with TV Guide, The SmackDown Women's Champion revealed that she pitched the idea to the creative team. Nevertheless, nothing ever materialized.
