#2. Real WWE injury: Elias
Elias was last seen on WWE TV when he was part of a hit and run outside the Performance Center. Sheamus had attempted to frame Jeff Hardy and convince the former World Champion that he had relapsed ahead of an episode of SmackDown back in June.

As a result of a hit and run, WWE stated that Elias had suffered a torn pectoral muscle as well as broken ribs and these injuries would keep him sidelined from SmackDown for several months.
The Drifter was written off WWE TV because he had suffered a pectoral muscle tear in reality which will reportedly sideline him until around WrestleMania 37 in April next year.
Elias has been hit by a number of injuries throughout his career and was most recently written out of his match in the King of the Ring tournament and replaced by Shane McMahon last year when he suffered an ankle injury. Hopefully, the former 24/7 Championship has a change of luck when he makes his return to the company in 2021.
