Kingston was put through a table by Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura as part of the pay-per-view where the duo walked out as the new Tag Team Champions. Kingston was assessed by the medical staff the following week on SmackDown.
Kingston then told Big E that he would be out of action for up to six weeks through injury and that his tag team partner would now have the chance to push forward as a singles star.
Despite the injury looking real at Extreme Rules, the former WWE Champion is absolutely fine according to a report by Tom Colohue, who revealed that Kingston asked for some time away.
Kofi is absolutely fine. He has just been given six weeks off to take a quarantine period, go and see his family, take a quarantine period and then come back to work.
At present, it's unknown when Kingston will be making his return to WWE TV.
