If I were writing this article years ago, I would have never mentioned Shawn Michaels’ name. It’s because he never showed his intentions to return to the ring again. However, in 2018, Michaels finally returned to the ring, after staying in retirement for ten years, against The Undertaker and Kane at Crown Jewel.
One of the main reasons it happened is because the fans always wanted to see his return, while the Saudi Arabians loves feeling nostalgia. Even though the Heartbreak Kid couldn’t wrestle like before, WWE still felt that he could put out a great match. Since he had returned to the ring, fans started speculating whether he will fight more matches or not. But earlier this year, Michaels made it clear that he doesn’t plan to return to the ring again:

“They forced me. No, it (Crown Jewel match) was a really special thing, and I really felt that one for a while. I’m good with what I’ve done. I no longer want to do it anymore.”
