Stone Cold Steve Austin's Neck injury
Ad

Owen Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin fought for Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam 1997. A piledriver by Owen pinned Austin's head into the ground. Everyone in the audience thought he might be paralyzed for life. Somehow, he got up and pinned Hart to win the championship.
He spent most part of his career in severe pain because of this neck injury. He underwent several surgeries, but his neck and ailing knees forced him to hang up his boots.
