#4. Storyline: Former WWE star Lita announces that she's pregnancy with Kane's baby

Lita is a WWE Hall of Famer and a former four-time Women's Champion. But she has also been featured in controversial storylines throughout her career.

In 2004, Lita was part of an on-screen relationship with Matt Hardy, but she was being pursued by Kane. Hardy was overjoyed when Lita announced that she was expecting the couple's first child, and he even proposed to the former Women's Champion.

As it turned out, Hardy was not the father. Though Lita didn't seem to be happy with Kane's advances, The Big Red Monster claimed that she was carrying his baby.

Hardy and Kane feuded for several months on WWE programming before Kane won a match that permitted him to marry Lita. The former star later miscarried the baby after Gene Snitsky hit Kane with a chair and caused him to fall on Lita.

Ironically, this deveopment helped Lita and Kane end up on the same page in order to exact revenge on Snitsky. Regardless, this romance remains one of the most controversial storylines in WWE history.
