The Bloodline storyline continues, and it appears that WWE has no intention to end it soon. The next angle will see a Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at the RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6.
At the same time, The Bloodline saga has affected a few superstars, and this article examines three of them.
#3. Kevin Owens has been screwed over multiple times in titles matches vs The Bloodline
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
Kevin Owens had a feud with The Bloodline on SmackDown when Roman Reigns was the Universal Champion. KO tried to dethrone The Original Tribal Chief, but the rest of the faction did their best to keep him away from the title.
Thus, Owens never became a world champion on the blue brand, but his rivalry with the faction never stopped, even when Roman Reigns was on a hiatus.
This was why he turned on his friend Cody Rhodes when the latter teamed up with Reigns against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. KO has been a heel since then, and we could see him get involved with members of The OG Bloodline, like The Usos and Sami Zayn, or even go after the Original Tribal Chief.
#2. Drew McIntyre has unfinished business with The Bloodline
When Roman Reigns was the Universal Champion on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre was the World Heavyweight Champion on RAW. Although McIntyre did a great job as a fighting champion, he almost never headlined a Premium Live Event, as Reigns was the face of the company.
What kicked off his rivalry with The Bloodline was what happened at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event in September 2022, where he was a step away from dethroning Roman Reigns until Solo Sikoa's WWE debut cost him the opportunity to become the Universal Champion.
Fast-forward to today. He still has unfinished business with the faction, which is why, upon his WWE return, he targeted The Usos and Sami Zayn. What remains to be seen is how his feud with The Usos and Zayn will evolve and whether his major target will be to take out The Original Tribal Chief.
#1. The Bloodline saga has prevented CM Punk from main eventing PLEs
CM Punk teamed up with The OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames, helping them defeat The New Bloodline. However, the Bloodline storyline has affected his status as a big-time wrestler.
More specifically, he was expected to main event Bad Blood in early October for his Hell in a Cell Match against Drew McIntyre, which settled his rivalry with The Scottish Warrior.
However, The Rock's return overshadowed The Best in the World, with the tag team match between Rhodes and Reigns and Sikoa and Fatu closing the show.
Likewise, the same could happen at the RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6. Even though Michael Cole announced that CM Punk and Seth Rollins' match would be the main event of the show, there is speculation that WWE could change its direction and have the Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa as the match that will close the show, preventing CM Punk from main-eventing another blockbuster show.
