On SmackDown Live, he was the face of the brand for over two and a half years, becoming a 2-time WWE Champion in the process. One of those reigns even lasted for more than 365 days, making Styles only the sixth superstar in history to hold the WWE title for a full calender year.

Let's not even talk about his prior accomplishments. Styles going to RAW was always inevitable. It was just a matter of "when" and not "if".
