#3 Brock Lesnar faced Eddie Guerrero for 25+ minutes
Brock Lesnar’s first WWE run ended in acrimonious circumstances when he fought another departing Superstar, Goldberg, in front of a Madison Square Garden crowd that created a hostile atmosphere for both men.
That night, needless to say, was not a particularly good one for Brock Lesnar, but the same could not be said for the match that he competed in on the previous month’s pay-per-view, No Way Out 2004.
In what turned out to be Brock Lesnar’s last truly classic match in WWE for eight years, “The Next Big Thing” lost the WWE Championship to Eddie Guerrero in an entertaining encounter that lasted 29 minutes and 55 seconds.
The finish to the match saw Goldberg interfere and hit Brock Lesnar with a spear. Guerrero then countered an F-5 into a DDT onto the WWE Championship, and he followed up with his famous frog splash to record the biggest victory of his career.
Brock Lesnar has received plaudits for his matches against smaller opponents like Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan in recent years, but it will take something special to beat his epic battle with Guerrero.
