WWE Hall of Famer Edge made his miraculous return to WWE at the 2020 Royal Rumble and had a strong showing in the match. He soon got into a heated rivalry with his former tag team partner, Randy Orton. Edge and Orton faced off in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36, which the former won. The feud was far from over though. The duo went at it again, this time at WWE Backlash 2020, in what the company promoted as "The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever".

During the match, Edge tore his tricep and later revealed a bunch of gruesome pictures highlighting the injury. Edge also revealed the exact moment when he injured himself while speaking about the same in an interview.
I did a springboard into the second RKO. I went 'ooh.' I got the cold sweats and I feel like I'm going to throw up. That's usually a sign, that's where it popped.
"The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" ended with Orton coming out on top. The injury that Edge suffered in the match has taken him out of action and he won't be coming back to the ring for the next several months. Here's hoping that Edge goes on to make a full recovery.
