Now, these two may have made up since, but when The Rock returned to the company in 2011, the two third-generation Superstars failed to see eye-to-eye.

After promising fans he was back and would never leave again, the Great One drew the ire of Orton, who questioned whether Rocky, who had left in 2004, actually meant it.

This one-off comment in an interview reportedly made the Hollywood star furious, and took his complaint straight to Vince McMahon.

After McMahon got word of it, he told off the Viper, telling him to tone it down, and not criticize one of the company's top stars as the WWE built to The Rock's historic WrestleMania 28 match with John Cena.

Knowing when not to rock the boat, Orton did stop trash-talking Rock, even praising him for his return in later interviews.
