Jon Moxley’s final WWE days left us in tears. We never thought he would leave WWE because 1) he was making millions and 2) his wife, Renee Young, also works there. But, when the news broke about his departure, fans were shocked.

At first, we thought it was a storyline WWE was using to build up Moxley’s new rivalry but that wasn’t the case. As reported by WWE, Moxley’s contract ended in April this year and in May, he joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It wasn’t surprising to see him in AEW because of the way WWE treated him as compared to his Shield brothers.
It’s been just a little over a month since Jon Moxley stepped foot in an AEW ring, and now, he has become one of the most demanding Superstars in the wrestling world. While we don’t know if Moxley will join WWE again, one thing is certain that his departure wasn’t expected at all.
