Rhyno is now an 'independent' wrestler

Last year, Rhyno got fired by WWE after losing to his tag team partner Heath Slater on Raw. While it was just a storyline, the former ECW Champion left WWE for real in 2019. Initially, the fans thought that because WWE doesn’t use Rhyno often on television, they decided not to renew his contract but it is far from reality.

As per Rhyno, WWE offered him a new contract but he rejected their deal because he wanted to wrestle more often, which wasn’t happening in WWE. It’s was surprising for the fans as they thought Rhyno would accept the contract and enjoy the free time with his family as the company wouldn't use him much on Raw.
