#2 The Rock Insulted: CM Punk

Back in 2011, CM Punk was having one of the best runs of his WWE career and the company decided it was time to let the self-proclaimed "Best in the World" loose with a live microphone.

CM Punk's pipebomb has become one of the greatest promos of all time, but it appears that the former World Champion managed to offend several stars when he reeled off a number of insults on live TV.

One of the men who was brought into the pipebomb was The Rock. Whilst much of the promo was aimed at John Cena in the beginning, The Rock was later mentioned as one of the men who were close to Vince McMahon.

"You’re as good as kissing Vince’s a** as Hulk Hogan was. I don’t know if you’re as good as Dwayne though. He’s a pretty good a** kisser. Always was and still is...And trust me, this isn’t sour grapes. But the fact that Dwayne is in the main event at WrestleMania next year and I’m not makes me sick!"

The Rock was obviously offended by the comments and took to social media to make it clear to Punk why he was the one main eventing WrestleMania and not him.

CM Punk and The Rock later collided at The Royal Rumble back in 2013 and it was The Great One who took the World Championship from The Best In The World.
