Austin and the Deadman built a friendship based on trust and mutual respect.

Over his tenure with the WWE, The Undertaker was able to see the company before, during, and after, the Attitude Era.

And one Superstar he took great interest in was 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, who the Deadman saw debut in 1996, before reaching highs as one of the company's biggest ever stars during the late 90s and early 2000s.

Feuding multiple times in their careers, the pair developed a friendship based on respect, with Austin even admitting in a WWE documentary how he would attempt to get the Phenom to crack up laughing backstage.

Despite both men being long-time nemeses, it's warming to see that two of the greatest champions of all time were able to respect each other despite both going for the WWF Championship at the same time.
