#1 Always pushes - AJ Styles
When we talk about AJ Styles and the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, the one match which comes to our mind is the bout between John Cena and The Phenomenal One at Money in the Bank 2016. Two of the world's best sports entertainers delivered an all-time classic at the event and ultimately, it was AJ Styles who emerged victorious from the match.
Given that it was AJ Styles' first year in the WWE, a pay-per-view win over the company's golden boy is a huge achievement.
Though Styles was not booked to win the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2017 (because of his involvement in the US title picture), the New Face That Runs The Place defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in an epic last man standing match at the succeeding edition.
AJ Styles will challenge the Universal Champion, Seth Rollins at this year's show and this match just follows Vince McMahon's trend of pushing Styles at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
