3 WWE Superstars who can put an end to Becky Lynch's title reign

Who will dethrone The Man?
Who will dethrone The Man?

Becky Lynch has been on the top of the division for over a year now. She won the RAW Women's Championship back in WrestleMania 35 and her reign is still going strong. She has defended her title against Lacey Evans, Natalya, Sasha Banks, and various other opponents during her reign, but none of them were successful in taking the gold off her.

Becky recently surpassed Ronda Rousey to become the longest-reigning RAW Women's Champion of all time. At this point, The Man seems unstoppable and it will be interesting to see how WWE decides to book the end of this historic reign. With the brand split in full effect, not many top contenders are left that can take out Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch has to lose the title at some point, so what could WWE do to build up a promising rivalry that can eventually result in Becky losing the title? Let's take a look at the top 3 contenders that could dethrone The Man.

#3 Ronda Rousey

This should come in as no surprise as Becky defeated Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 to win both the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championship in a triple threat match that also involved Charlotte Flair. Rousey has not appeared on WWE after losing the title and it would make perfect sense if she decides to come back for retribution against The Man.

Ronda revealed in the past that she had taken time off to start a family. However, rumors have recently surfaced that Ronda is ready to come back and WWE Creative is looking for an opportunity to reintroduce her into the mix. Royal Rumble is just around the corner and it is a perfect time for Ronda Rousey to make her return.

#2 Asuka

Asuka and Becky Lynch are no strangers to each other. Their paths have crossed many times in the past and Becky is yet to score a victory against Asuka.

At Royal Rumble 2019, Asuka made Becky submit to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship. The reignition of their feud has been teased multiple times during recent weeks on RAW in which Asuka got a couple of more victories against Becky.

It looks like Asuka might be the Kryptonite to Becky Lynch. It's a perfect story that can result in a great feud between the two for the RAW Women's Championship and Asuka might be the one to put an end to Becky's reign. This will leave the story open for future as well when Asuka and Becky's paths cross again. Long term booking for the win!

#1 Shayna Baszler

It might be the perfect time for Shayna Baszler to move to the main roster to continue her rivalry with Becky Lynch. Shayna came out on top against Becky and Bayley in a triple threat match at Survivor Series where she made Bayley submit to secure the victory.

Becky assaulted Shayna after the match and said that she didn't beat The Man. There is clearly some unfinished business between the two and 'The Queen of Spades' will surely come looking for revenge somewhere down the line. Shayna is currently holding the NXT Women's title which she could possibly lose soon as a new promising contender has emerged in the form of Rhea Ripley.

The connection between Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey could also play a role in this story as WWE has been teasing a feud between the Four Horsewomen of WWE (Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Bayley) and The Four Horsewomen of MMA (Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir). Becky vs. Shayna would be the perfect start of this feud leading up to WrestleMania.
