#2 Chad Gable
Whether or not Chad Gable wins the King of the Ring tournament, it's clear WWE might have some big plans for him. They may mock him every week for being short, but he has made it to the finals and is over with the fans. Gable could see a big WWE push before the end of the year.
Obviously, it's very unlikely that Gable is in contention for the WWE Championship, but he could be in the Intercontinental Championship picture. This is the only belt that currently makes sense since Gable in on SmackDown. If FOX wants WWE to have a more sports oriented bend, they should have a genuine Olympian become Intercontinental Champion, and be presented on the show as a bonafide athletic star.
WWE really has the chance to make a new star, even if Gable doesn't win King of the Ring. They need to take this opportunity and create a new Superstar, in a similar way to how Daniel Bryan became a star back in 2013.
