Nia Jax is almost ready to return

Since WrestleMania 35, Nia Jax hasn’t had a match in WWE and has been out due to knee injuries. But latest reports suggest that Jax could return sooner than later. PWInsider initially reported that she would join the SmackDown brand upon her return. But Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter said that the former RAW Women’s Champion will stay on the Red brand.

Nia Jax has been medically cleared to return after reconstructive surgery on both knees. It’s just a question of when they want to start her back and where. Right now she’s earmarked for Raw, and not Smackdown as has been reported in many places.

It wouldn’t be too shocking if Nia Jax forms another heel alliance in WWE and challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, which we think would be on the shoulders of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross after WrestleMania. Alternatively, she could also be used in a RAW Women’s Championship rivalry after ‘Mania 36. If Shayna Baszler wins the title, then Jax could have an exciting match with her.
