Balor is one of the most popular superstars in the company. The Irishman had a pretty promising start to his WWE career as he became the first ever Universal champion. But an unfortunate shoulder injury on the same night forced him to relinquish the championship.
Ever since his return from injury, WWE has been hesitant about pushing Balor. His feuds with Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, and Baron Corbin have been pretty mediocre. Balor is now involved in a program with Bobby Lashley and is set face the Intercontinental champion at Wrestlemania 35.
If used in the correct manner, Finn Balor has the potential to be on the same level as someone like AJ Styles. A likable guy who is easy to get behind, Balor isn't too shabby inside the ring either.
