When Bobby Lashley returned to WWE after a lengthy hiatus on the night after WrestleMania, fans were delighted and ecstatic to see Lashley back. It was an opportunity for WWE to right the wrongs from Lashley's initial WWE run. The rumour mill began running hot for a list of possible dream matches for 'The Dominator'.

However, few would argue with me when I say that Lashley's return has been a complete bust and an absolute failure. WWE has completely botched his return by not giving him the attention and spotlight he needs.

Lashley's mic skills are extremely weak, which is the reason why he was paired with Lio Rush, who himself is one of the most annoying and irritating characters fans have ever seen on television. He was placed in meaningless feuds with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, both of which saw 2018's most awful moments and segments come to life.

When Lashley turned heel and aligned with Lio Rush, he still ended up losing big matches against the likes of Seth Rollins and Elias.

If a heel turn couldn't change his fortunes, then I don't know what will. Lashley had a forgettable 2018 and I don't think that 2019 will be any better.
