Shawn Michaels returned to the ring at WWE Crown Jewel after staying retired for 8 years. Although he looked fine in the ring, he is a shell of the performer he was prior to his retirement.

Many would argue that Shawn ruined his legacy by coming out of retirement for a match alongside Triple H against the Brothers of Destruction. Many felt that Shawn should have faced younger talent, which is why the rumor mill is running hot for a host of Wrestlemania dream matches for Shawn.
Daniel Bryan is the current WWE Champion and was trained by Shawn. These two icons have a genuine history and WWE would look to capitalize on their history and might book a showdown between Michaels and Bryan at Wrestlemania.
With all due respect to Michaels, he shouldn't win the Rumble match as he is past his prime and he should let others grab the spotlight.
