AJ Styles got injured at Royal Rumble pay-per-view right before getting eliminated from the Battle Royal match. Many fans were wondering if this injury could keep The Phenomenal One away from the ring for a long time.
Some even doubted if Styles would perform at WrestleMania. But the former WWE Champion has confirmed that he’ll recover in a few weeks and return for the Shows of Shows.
"I'm not missing WrestleMania. I'll scratch and claw my way there," Styles said during one of his Mixer streams.
As per Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda, Styles was originally scheduled to feud with Randy Orton after Royal Rumble. But the plans were apparently nixed because Styles is going to miss ‘Mania.
But if this isn’t the case (and Styles has confirmed it won’t be), then he could end up facing Orton as per the original plans. Both Superstars are currently working as heels, and it’d be interesting to see how things pan out for them.
