Although Brock may be one of WWE's biggest draws at the moment, few fans genuinely like him. His callous attitude and the fact that he only defended the Universal Championship when he felt like it, or when the money was right, did not endear him to the fans.

Dean might not be as brutally dominant as Brock, but he has the potential to play some of the most intense mind games due to his lunatic character. The fact that Dean would consistently defend the title if he won it would make the fans appreciate him more than they ever did Brock.
